The White Hat Guide to the Grainger StudioThe Grainger Studio began life in 1939 as a grand art deco picture palace called West's Cinema. In more recent times it has been refurbished as the chief rehearsal venue fro the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra. It is also used for smaller scale orchestral concerts and recitals. It was renamed the Grainger Studio in honour of the Australian composer Percy Grainger who is buried in Adelaide.

Tea and Symphony

A series of one-hour concerts of popular classics, complete with morning tea
to follow. This series proved a hit in 2007 with sell out concerts every time so
make sure you don’t miss out in 2008 when the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra
presents this wonderful classical matinee experience. Concerts are at 10.30am
and 1pm.
