On the 6th March each year, Norfolk Islanders celebrate the day in 1788 when the ship Supply arrived having left Port Jackson on 15th February under the command of Lt King who landed with 22 people to form the first European settlement on the island. The annual celebrations include costumed re-enactments of the landing.
A bustling farmers' market featuring fresh local produces. Because of strict quarantine laws, all produce is grown on the island. The only imported vegetables allowed are potatoes, ginger and garlic.
