• "a current member of parliament who [was] a teenager in 1921'" - That would make him over 100 years old
• "members of Victoria’s hallowed State Parliament making their way directly from a sitting at Parliament House in Spring Street" In 1921 Victorian Parliament was in the Exhibition Building and Spring Street was Australia's Parliament
• "seamed nylon stockings complete in their unopened 1927 packaging" nylon stockings were not created until 1939
• "felt collars have been cut on the bias" - felt is not woven and therefore has no bias
•  "frilly knickers modelled on those worn by the original Parisian can-can dancers" - the original can-can dancers wore no knickers
• "carved from the horn of an Angus cow" - an Angus cow has no horns
• "a little town on the Italian-Russian border" - Italy does not border Russia
• "a small piece of rope which may have been cut from the noose that hanged Squizzy Taylor" - Squizzy Taylor was shot, not hanged
