Evolve's Annual Bush Fair

Victorian non-profit youth organisation Evolve at Typo Station (Evolve) is pleased to celebrate its 14th annual Bush Fair. Bush Fair will again be held at Typo Station, a former grazing station in the heart of ‘Kelly country’, one hour South-East of Wangaratta in North-East Victoria. Bush Fair 2008 promises to be a community fun-filled day, offering family and friends a taste of what Typo Station has to offer. To celebrate our pioneer bushman heritage, come and enjoy Victorian amateur sheaf tossing championships, cross cut saw competitions, bush poetry, local produce and craft stalls, children’s activities and games, live music and entertainment and much much much more. As a much loved event for the North-East community, Bush Fair 2008 expects to attract close to 1,000 people from across Victoria. Gates open at 11am (no pets or BYO) and close at 11pm. Entry is $5 per head, with a free sausage and bread upon arrival. With camping facilities available onsite, Bush Fair is a perfect excuse for a weekend away. With a significant amount of local community support, Evolve hopes to raise $10,000 this year to assist as many young people as possible to participate in our programs in 2009.

Would you like to run a stall at our Bush Fair? We are seeking expressions of interest from stall holders to join our festivities and showcase their produce, food vendors, crafts or activities at our annual Bush Fair. To secure you stall, please contact Sasha Molodtsov on sasha@evolve.org.au or 03 9416 2322. Stalls are priced at $25 per site.
