The White Hat Guide to Scandinavian food stores & ingredients in Melbourne
Even if you're not interested in Scandinavian food, The Swedish Church is well worth a visit. It occupies the stately Toorak House that for a while was our local Government House. At both The Swedish Church and Viking Victoria, you will find a variety of Scandinavian ingredients. Knackerbrod, rollmops, cloudberries, ligonberries, cod roe cream, blueberry soup and parlsocker. And of course more varieties of herring than you can shake a fishing rod at. I wouldn't be surprised if you can buy herring ice-cream. Viking Victoria | |||||||||||||||
