Gympie Music Muster
This annual event has been running for more than two decades and is one of
the major country music events in Australia. It is also the largest
not-for-profit charity event of its type in Australia. Each year features a
number of headline acts as well as emerging artists and ordinary talented people
for whom singing and performing is just a natural extension of their everyday
lives. If you are thinking of going, White Hat strongly recommends that you try
to make time to get up there and camp before the festival, because teh
pre-festival campground atmosphere is one of the things that makes this event

Yeppoon Community Market
This
Community Market has a great history and over its nearly 50 years existence
has has used the stallholder fees to contribute considerable amounts to a
wide range of community causes. Here you will find local arts and crafts,
home-made and home grown goods and and a wide range of other products.
White Hat recommends that if you are after the freshest of
the local produce that you arrive early.

Kern Arcade Car Park Markets
The Kern Arcade Car Park Markets have a large range of local fruit and
vegetables, including organic and spray free produce. There are two mobile
butchers plus over 150 stalls featuring locally made cakes and biscuits,
chutneys and preserves, jewellery, bric-a-brac, ladies and children's
fashions, collectable coins and notes, plants and timber craft.
White Hat recommends this market as a particularly
efficient place for Sunday shopping since there is plenty of free parking
both covered and uncovered in and around the market, and the Kern Arcade
shops are also open for trading.

Noosa Farmers Market
A large range of local produce from local farmers and producers. Fruit, vegetables, seafood, jams, chutneys, and all the seasonal produce that this part of Queensalnd has to offer. In addition to the foos the is a range of other handmade goods. White Hat recommends that if you are taking a holiday in Noosa you make sure to get to this market to stock up for the week.
