Brimbank Community Market
Brimbank Community Market.is a privately owned Australian company and aims is to develop the site in Ardeer into an iconic attraction, a valuable addition to the western suburbs. It is more than a traditional weekend market. The stalls are an attraction in their own right and provide a great atmosphere where patrons will find products and services only found at weekend markets, the market will also have a huge area devoted to entertainment, with a circus, amusements, children's play area, a traditional sumo wrestling ring and other entertainment.
The main objective is to provide an environment where the whole family will find something to enjoy. The entertainment and community involvement will be varied and ongoing and it is hoped that each time you visit the market you will find something new and exciting. Currently planned events include Sumo Wrestling, Dart Competitions, Basket Ball, Football and soccer shoot outs, Tug of war, Cooking competitions, Traditional folk dancing and Musical Entertainment
Brimbank Community Market would welcome community groups, and the general public to participate in the events and competitions they organise.
